Methods of blocking with the legs. Morote-Kake-Uke (Jodan), Osae-Uke.

Kicks
Kake-Geri-Kakato (Jodan, Chudan), kake-Geri-Chus-oku (Jodan, Chudan), Ushiro-Mawashi-Geri (Jodan, Chudan, Gedan).

Kata
Tensho, Saiha.
Taikyoku-Sono-Ichi, Taikyoku-Sono-Ni and Taikyoku-Sono-San are performed in Ura.

Kumite
Jiyu-Kumite.

Renraku
Gedan-Mawashi-Geri, Jodan-Ushiro-Mawashi-Geri, Jodan-Mae-Geri-Chusoku, Jodan-Mawashi-Geri, Jodan-Ushiro-Mawashi-Geri return and cover.

Tameshiwari
1. Mandatory break with Seiken.
2. Optional – (student’s choice).


Exercises
60 Seiken push ups.
10 one finger push ups (on knees). Then hold final position for 15 seconds.
150 Stomach pulls.
100 Squats.

Nidan - 2nd Dan

Punches and Strikes
Toho-Uchi (Jodan), Keiko-Uchi, Ippon-Nukite-Jodan.

Blocks
Hiji-uke (Chudan), Shotei-Morote-Gedan-Uke, Shuto-Morote-Gedan-Uke

Kicks
Tobi-Ushiro-Geri, Tobi-Ushiro-Mawashi-Geri, Tobi-Mawashi-Geri, Age-Kakato-Ushiro-Geri.

Kata
Kanku-Dai, Gekisai-Sho, Seienchin, Pinan-Sono-Ichi in Ura.

Kumite
Jiyu-Kumite.

Qualifications
It is expected that the candidate must have national or international Tournament experience (fighting or support), together with a good standard of technique and all round fighting ability.

Qualifications as a judge in Clicker and Knockdown will be considered.

The candidate's character and general abilities as an instructor will be taken into consideration.

Sandan - 3rd Dan

Qualifications The candidate must be a Kata judge and should have one other qualification as a referee, in Clicker or Knockdown.

Ability to demonstrate, teach and explain all of the previous Kihon and Kata.

Kata
Garyu, Seipai, Sushiho. Candidate will need to create their own Kata and demonstrate this to the examining panel with full explanations.
